Lightest Double Stroller
When looking for a light double stroller weight and fold size are the most important aspects to take into consideration. When not in use, pick a stroller that is simple to use and small in size. This will make it easier to put it in your car trunk, and also to navigate through airport security and foreign roads.
The best lightweight strollers feature a light, intuitive fold and self-standing mechanisms to reduce the strain on parents' bodies. Many strollers have multiple seating configurations, and some can accommodate car seats for infants.
Kolcraft Cloud Plus
Designed for the family on the go. Lightweight, with a simple one-hand compact fold. The all-terrain wheels and front suspension, as well as the multi-position reclining seats can accommodate children weighing up 50 pounds. Trays for both children and parents, large storage basket and 3-tier canopy that has a windows that peek out to maximize sun protection.
The Cloud was awarded one of the lowest marks in our tests of quality because it has a weak, hard plastic seat and a style that feels dated. It's also more expensive than other strollers with lighter weights, so it's not the best option if you're looking for a budget option.
While it's not the most light double stroller, it has enough features that are worth a look. Its swiveling wheels make it easy to move it around flat surfaces. It can also jump curbs with ease. The Cloud's low handle is a problem but it's at knee level and isn't adjustable. It's not comfortable to push with your legs hanging in the air, and it doesn't help that it lacks padding.
In our tests, we discovered the Cloud to be easy to set up and open. It's a little more difficult to close, however; you have to slide a slider, and then press a large white button for it to collapse. This can be frustrating when you're trying to keep your children entertained while you do it.
The Cloud comes with a small but deep storage basket. It's big enough to fit an enormous diaper bag. The basket is a bit narrow, and you may need to leave something in there to reach the back. The Cloud includes two tray for parents and children with two cup holders however they're too narrow to comfortably hold larger bottles or cups.

Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS

Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS is an extremely lightweight, minimalist double stroller that's great for travel. It's super light at just 18lbs (lighter than many single strollers!) It folds flat, making it easy to carry and store. It also has independently reclined seats and large all-weather SPF50 sun visors that have peekaboo windows and extra-large storage bags underneath the seat. The visors can be adjusted to accommodate children of various heights. It also features an integrated parking brake with one step and is Disney-sized approved.
The swivel wheel feature of Jeep is also great for navigating over bumps and uneven terrain. This stroller doesn't accept car seats. Your child must be at least six months old and have an excellent neck control to use the front seat. The stroller comes with a three-panel sun canopy and each seat comes with a cupholder and snack tray.
Another incredibly lightweight side-by-side stroller is the Valco Baby Snap Duo Trend. It's heavier than Kolcraft Cloud Plus, at 23 pounds. However, it's tinier and slimmer (26.5 inches wide!) and is packed with luxurious features that make it ideal for travel. It's a simple fold, is extremely maneuverable and fits into the overhead compartments of airplanes and trunks easily.
Like the Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ Double and Mountain Buggy Nano Duo, the Joovy Kooper X2 is another tri-fold ultralight double stroller. It's quite similar to the Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS, however, it has some key differences. It's more expensive, but it has a better sun canopy and more maneuverability. It also comes with a handy carry strap and can accommodate children as heavy as 44 pounds per seat.
Summer 3D Pac CS+ for infants
Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ is a stroller that is light packed with features. It is not only incredibly light at only 13 pounds but also comes with a ton of storage, including cup holders for the parent and child and a sippy-cup bag for the child and a parent's storage pouch and so on. It is also compatible with a child's seat and features a flip-flop-friendly brake that can be easily engaged. This stroller is designed to expand with your child. It can be converted from a baby stroller into a toddler stroller simply by attaching the car seat adapters (sold separate) and is suitable for children aged 6 months and up.
Another thing to consider about this stroller is that it only has swivel wheels and doesn't have locking options therefore it may not be the best option for terrain that is rocky or hilly. It's still a good option for families with children, since it is easy to maneuver on pavements and other smooth surfaces.
This stroller is one of the lightest double strollers, with full-size features and an elegant compact design. The quick-close feature lets the stroller to fold with just one hand in seconds and is small enough to fit easily into your garage or trunk. It can be used as a stoller for travel and is compatible without additional adapters to most car seats.
Contrary to the majority of lightweight strollers, the Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ has two separate seats and can hold up to 50 pounds per seat (100 lbs total). The seats have a recline in multiple positions, individual leg rests, and three-panel canopies with flip-out sun visors and windows that peek out.
The seats are padded to ensure your baby's comfort and have a 5-point padded safety harness that can be adjusted to three height positions. Each seat comes with an infant cushion that is ideal for infants. The cup holders for parents and child, the phone holders and the big storage basket will be adored by parents. The stroller is also able to be fitted with the Yoyo+ Board, which transforms it into an additional stroller.
Joovy X2 Kooper
The Kooper X2 is an excellent option for parents looking for a stroller that is light and can accommodate two children. The sling-style seats are comfy and offer a similar amount of headroom, which allows kids to sit together. In contrast to other strollers that are side-by-side that are available, the Kooper X2 offers a fully reclined seat that is an ideal spot to nap. Its recline mechanism is easy to operate but it isn't completely flat. lightweight twin buggy who are taller may find that they have a dangling leg when sitting in the reclined position. It also has a huge canopy which we found to be better in blocking out sun than some other options in our best double strollers review.
The stroller is light enough to easily move through door frames which was a major problem for us with some other strollers we tested. It folds easily and the handlebars sit close to the ground. Its only drawback is its small storage space. When full of stuff for the kids it can feel squeezed.
Joovy is a family-owned company that creates innovative, practical and high-quality baby products. Their range of products includes innovative baby bottles, such as the Joovy Zoom X2 Double stroller and a unique raincover that fits an array of popular strollers. The bottles are reasonably priced and usually have appealing designs that appeal to kids.
During our lab tests of double strollers, we evaluate various factors to determine how easy a model is to use, including the ease of use to set up and fold, adjust the safety harness and open and close the brakes, raise and carry the stroller as if it were to be placed into a car trunk, and install and remove an infant car seat (if applicable). We also looked at the durability and strength of the stroller and also whether each product has a parent tray which can accommodate both child trays.
The Joovy Kooper X2 received the highest score in our Strollers Test Program due to its user-friendliness. It also earned the top score in our latest guide to the top double strollers. Its simple-to-use design features a one hand, zero tilt recline, as well as a large canopy that has ventilation mesh that you can see through even when it is tilted. There are also individual tray for kids, cup holders built-in and pockets with zippers for parents, and a large storage basket.
